DJ Basin Driving Colorado Crude Oil Production To New Highs

The Tribune, the state’s leading publication covering Colorado’s energy industry, reported in a mid-year update this week, production has increased since December, 2017 at rate of 10,000 barrels per day every month. The DJ Basin and Weld County are largely responsible for that growth with Weld County weighing in at an average 11.49 million bbl/mo for the first quarter.
